About Nancy Poucher:
I am an artist living in Provincetown, one of the oldest artist colonies in the United States. The tip of Cape Cod is known for its light and I paint outdoors (en plein air) as often as possible. During the cold winter months, I do work from my sketches and photographs. Soft pastels are my preferred medium. Pure pigment in a stick, they are easy to transport in my backpack and they quickly capture the ever changing light.
