About This Painting
When I want to play and get used to slinging a LOT of paint around, I paint one of these. This one is on very aggressive 3" museum wrap. I fought with this one a bit, but the outcome makes me smile.

About David Boyd, Jr
Boyd is a full time high school art teacher and self syndicated editorial cartoonist with a painting addiction. Boyd graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 1995 with a degree in illustration. Boyd's recent devotion to daily painting has changed the course of his life and his work. A recent move from Atlanta suburbs has transformed his work to images of the vanishing rural south as well as anything that catches his eye. Boyd's larger works include images of old neon signs, rusty cars, trucks and tractors as well as rural landscapes and lowland marshes. Boyd is also an avid plein air painter and photographer.
